Announcing the BlueVia API Console »

We're excited to announce that we've partnered with BlueVia, the new developer platform from Telefonica, to offer developers an Apigee API Console!

BlueVia's APIs gives developers access to Telefonica's network assets and data, including APIs for SMS, MSS, user contextual information, advertising and location.

The BlueVia API Console is built with Apigee To-Go, our free product to let you build, skin and embed your own API Console. With the BlueVia API console, developers will now be able to learn, explore and test the APIs more easily, and start building apps faster. Check out this video demo: 

One thing we love about the BlueVia platform is that it's committed to giving developers between 10-50% of the revenue generated by API transactions.

Additionally, it gives developers 70% of application sales and recurring subscription revenue. Helping developers make money is really important for platform providers, and Telefonica's BlueVia is also a strong example of telco innovation with open data, services and APIs.
