Video demo: New updates to the API Console »
This week we released some updates to our Apigee API Console. Here is a short demo of:
- a new API provider page that lists all the API consoles
- a new API Resources page that lists all of the API operations
- UI changes to the Console itself (split screen, awesome bar, and more)
For now these updates are limited to just the Twitter console, but we'll soon roll them out more broadly.
We'd love your feedback on these changes - you can drop us a line at .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address). Thanks!

Announcing the BlueVia API Console »
We're excited to announce that we've partnered with BlueVia, the new developer platform from Telefonica, to offer developers an Apigee API Console!
BlueVia's APIs gives developers access to Telefonica's network assets and data, including APIs for SMS, MSS, user contextual information, advertising and location.
The BlueVia API Console is built with Apigee To-Go, our free product to let you build, skin and embed your own API Console. With the BlueVia API console, developers will now be able to learn, explore and test the APIs more easily, and start building apps faster. Check out this video demo:
One thing we love about the BlueVia platform is that it's committed to giving developers between 10-50% of the revenue generated by API transactions.
Additionally, it gives developers 70% of application sales and recurring subscription revenue. Helping developers make money is really important for platform providers, and Telefonica's BlueVia is also a strong example of telco innovation with open data, services and APIs. You can read more about telco APIs, the implications on network operations and frameworks for thinking about tools and technology in our whitepaper on Telco API Management.
Improvements to Apigee To-Go »
Since we launched Apigee To-Go (build an Apigee API Console for your own API) two weeks ago, we've been working to make it even better.
Improvements:
- Added support for multiple methods in a resource
- New reset password link
- Dedicated login page for To-Go

Fixes:
- Occasional issue where renaming a Console confused it
- Sometimes the CSS would refresh fast enough after uploading
- Removed the confusing WADL and CSS upload timestamp
- Changed the Test icon to Console
A huge thanks goes out to all the users who sent us feedback—things get better faster because of you. And send us a link to your API Console. For example, the Intersect API by Abraham Williams. Have you tried Apigee To-Go? Tell us about it!

Introducing new Apigee features for API testing and debugging »
Our Apigee team is delighted to announce powerful new features for API developers for the Twitter's Chirp conference.
Today, Twitter API developers have a new API Testing console that provides a way to explore and share Twitter API testing results via URL with other developers (see and example here).
And the new API Debugger gives developers API message capture, record, and playback for any API that is proxied with Apigee. You can share your debug snapshots with other developers via URL.
A couple other changes: we've removed our 'private preview' invitation requirement - anybody can sign up and get started now. And we've increased our free traffic limit from 10K to 50K per hour.
Finally, if you've used Apigee before, check out our new proxy creation flow.
For a detailed perspective, check out the Apigee blog for more on the evolution of Apigee.
